an opportunity to acquire fine art at affordable prices for gifts or wish lists in time for holiday shopping. Selection viewing will being on November 1, 2008 Opening reception is Friday, November 7, 2008 from 5:30 to 8:30 PM LIVE AUCTION* will start at 7:00 PM on Nov. 7th. Bid on your favorites, enjoy refreshments, hors d'oeuvres, music, and art. There is a $5.00 cover charge for this evening's festivities. Tickets are available at the art gallery or from any Prairie Winds member. SILENT AUCTION* runs Nov. 1 to Dec. 7, 2008. Come in during the month to make your selections and place a bid. Silent auction will end during the Christmas Open House on December 7, 2008; ending time will be posted. *All of the original artworks have been donated by regional professional artists to provide continuing funds for art center programming and building improvement needs at the art center.
