Miniature Show Judge and Workshop Instructor
Prairie Winds Art Center is pleased to have Robert Hanna conducting a three day workshop Friday, Saturday, and Sunday,
October 3, 4, and 5, 2008. The workshop will include classroom instruction on drawing and painting as well as plen aire painting if
the weather permits.

This is an incredible and unique opportunity for artists of all levels to learn from one of the nation's leading watercolor and
landscape artists.

The cost for the workshop is $150 for all three days. A $50 deposit is required for registration. Please call Prairie Winds Art Center

About the Artist

Robert Hanna spent his childhood in Grand Island, and studied architecture at the University of Nebraska. Currently he is an
Emeritus Architect in Nebraska. He has been awarded the Nebraska Honor Award and the Central States Regional Honor Award
for design excellence in architecture. He taught as an Assistant Professor in the College of Architecture at the University of
Nebraska - Lincoln for 8 years.

Robert has been an active painter since 1979 and maintains his studio and gallery in Lincoln. He is a member of the MidWest
Transparent Watercolor Society and the American Watercolor Society. Robert has won many awards for his art. He conducts
watercolor and visual communication workshops throughout the MidWest.

Mr. Hanna is the author of
Sketches of Nebraska and A Nebraska Portfolio, where he focuses his attention and his brush one the
buildings that go unnoticed. Robert has also paired his illustrations with the poems of U.S. Poet Laureate Ted Koosier in
Valentines, which is currently in its third printing.
