Harold Adams

Harold G. Adams started turning wood in 1988 and has been turning professiionally since 1995. Harold has been a full-time woodturner
since 2005. Essentially a self-taught wood turner/furniture maker, He has also learned by attending training seminars given by John
Jordan and Nick Cook, nationally known professional turners; through The Woodworking Shows; and through various other
professional avenues such as American Association of Woodturners Symposium and the Utah Woodturning Symposium sponsored by
Brigham Youny University Technology Teacher Education and Utah Association of Woodburners since 1995.

Harold's designs echo the classical style where graceful shapes and curves are inspired by nature and have a timeless appeal. Many of
his turnings are one of a kind artistic interpretations on bowls, vases, round boxes, goblets, and candlesticks. In his capable hands,
uncommon beauty is painstakingly created with rare and exotic woods from around the world, as well as woods harvested locally in his
hom state. Many of his turnings are made out of full-size blocks of wood, while others are laminated together to make some very unique
segmented vases.
