Kenneth Bassett

Ken was an art instructor in Nebraska for 33 years. He has won numerous awards for his watercolors, oils, and other media, including
an acceptance into the permanent collection of the Museum of Nebraska Art. Ken holds a BA degree from the University of Nebraska
at Kearney in Art Education and History.

Being raised both on a Nebraska cattle ranch in the Sandhills and in southern California has given Ken's subject matter a unique, dual
character of both rural and urban landscapes. Sunlight knifing through buildings and trees in one of his favorite subjects.
